THE H&H STORY

Founding owners, Ron and Lynda Hammond, started their property management careers when they bought their first investment property in 1970. Ron became a licensed Real Estate Agent in 1977 and a Real Estate Broker in 1982. Several of their friends and relatives saw how successful they had become and asked if they would manage their property as well. Then, in 1984 Hammond & Hammond was incorporated and the rest is history. For over 30 years they built a reputation for providing honest, experienced and professional property management service. In 2009 Ron and Lynda retired from the business, while the next generation took their place.

Jim Hammond started working with his parents at the age of 15, helping in the office where he was needed and learning the business.  He worked in the Hammond & Hammond maintenance department for six years, and in 1997 got his Real Estate License and started working in Business Development. Jim is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), and has attended annual education conferences for over 20 years where he earned the Residential Management Professional (RMP) designation. Jim is now the Broker of Hammond & Hammond, Inc.

Joanna Hammond started working at Hammond & Hammond with her future husband, Jim, during her senior year in high school. She continued to work in the accounting department while attending college. In 1999, after graduating college, she left Hammond & Hammond to work for KPMG, where she became a licensed CPA. After several years Joanna returned to work at Hammond & Hammond and is now a licensed Real Estate Broker.
